Who made you blue
There’s a world outside is waiting for you
Blind to see
We’re lurking in the shadows of our fears
Can you just be?
Just let yourself feel happy and be free
Yes, we should go
and leave our fears and doubts behind the door
Get to know the rays of truth
Get to know the rays of truth
Some of our hidden deeds
Can change anything
We keep them secretly
Forgetting what they meaning
Ain’t supposed to make us sad but that’s just what they do
Like a ball and chain they stop us, do you feel it too?
So break on through!
Get to know the rays of truth
Get to know the rays of truth
There’s no inside of “you”
And there’s no outside of “you”
You know we are one
Under the star called Sun
We’re flowers on the Earth
Our seeds will grow

It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
